The City of Livingston and F.A.I.T.H. Military Support Group will host “Picnic in the Park” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Anniversary Park located at the corner of Tyler Street and East Church Street. There will be free hot dogs and drinks and any donations will go to F.A.I.T.H. For more information, call 936-327-3656.

The Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas and Naskila Casino will host an Independence Day Music Fest & Fireworks Display at the Alabama-Coushatta Veterans Pavilion on Thursday. The gates open at 5 p.m. and admission is free. Tribal dancers will perform at 6 p.m. and the Brown Sugar Band will perform from 7-9 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at dusk.
