‘Black Creek Rising’to present music, fun

WARREN – Black Creek Ranch in Warren is preparing for a high time on Saturday, July 6.

The owners of the venue and organizers of the coming, inaugural “Black Creek Rising: A Grassroots Music Fest” promise a good day of great music, food and familyfriendly fun, beginning at 10 a.m.

The event is being promoted as a celebration of American Freedom. Live music, food, drinks, games, raffles, and vendors comprise the day’s activities, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit local VFW Post 2033. The organizers said that the cause of veterans, especially within Tyler County, is near and dear to their heart, and wanted to give the community a good, fun event for a good cause.

Entry price at the gate is $10, Kids 12 and under get in Free. Wristbands will be on sale for $10, and it is BYOB (beverages) and BYOC (chairs).

Black Creek has lined up some top-notch musical talent for this event. Performers include: Tommy Simpson and the Loaded Dice; No Chaser; Tyler Dozier; Jace Nunnelly; the Miller Highlights; Chance Sims; Chris Edwards; Paige Price; Michael Paul and more surprises in store, according to the organizers.

Vendors and Food Trucks include: Hog Heaven BBQ, That Food truck, Honey’s Hollow Custom Vinyl Designs and More, Blingz for Divaz, Country to Classy Boutique, Planet Zero Freeze Dried Treats, Dana Martin Insurance, Xflora Designs and Angela Miller Face and Body Painting. Sponsors for the event include: Tyler County Hospital, Riley Funeral Home, Ariel Digital, Streamline Production Services, Angela Marie Photography and Texas Farm Bureau Insurance.
