Investigation leads to four arrests

A follow-up investigation and felony warrant service at a residence off Mill Gate Road in Livingston by the Polk County Sheriff ’s Office and Texas Department of Public Safety resulted in multiple arrests of four people Tuesday.

Probably cause developed during the course of the investigation led investigators to obtain a search warrant, which resulted in the discovery of a large number of methamphetamines in the residence.

Four individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants and drug-related charges – Amie Lynnette Freeman, 30 of Conroe, Melba Louise Cox, 60 of Livingston, Richard Phillip Kinser, 33 of Livingston, and Tereza Lynn Pond, 52 of Livingston.

Freeman was arrested on outstanding warrants for motion to revoke probation/ unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and motion to revoke probation/possession of a controlled substance and new charges of possession of a controlled substance and fraudulent possession of identifying information.

Cox was arrested on outstanding warrants for bond forfeiture/manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and motion to revoke probation/manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

Kinser was arrested on an outstanding warrant for motion to revoke probation/ possession of a controlled substance and three new charges – possession of a controlled substance, fraudulent possession of identifying information and fail to identify.

Pond was arrested on three outstanding Class C warrants and a new charge of possession of a controlled substance.
