Best of Polk County

With just one more week to go, close to 25,000 nominations have been received for the Polk County Enterprise’s 2024 Best of Polk County Readers’ Choice Awards. Nominations will end on June 30. Voting will begin July 1. The annual event provides an opportunity to recognize local businesses, professionals and non-profits. Everyone can participate by going to easttexasnews.com and registering, which only involves using an email address. The 2024 Best of Polk County Readers’ Choice Awards occurs in three phases. The first phase, the nomination process, kicked off June 1 and will end June 30. Individuals may nominate their favorites up to once a day per email address. The month-long nomination process determines the finalists who will be eligible for Best of Polk County. The top 10 selections in each category will enter the second phase, the voting phase, which will run from July 1-31. During this time voters will have the opportunity to select their favorites among the top 10 in each category and will be allowed to vote up to once a day per email address. The third phase is the culmination of the annual readers’ choice awards when the winners of each category are recognized in a special section that will be included in a future issue of the Polk County Enterprise.
