– The Dam B Community Watch presented Kamyra White with a $1,000 scholarship for her outstanding achievements as a student at Woodville High School. Just a few of her achievements are scoring marks of at least 95% in every subject, compiling a 3.8 GPA. DAM B
She has also graduated with honors from Lamar Institute of Technology, and is the very first Woodville student ever to earn an associates degree before graduating from High School. White served as class president, and also as vice president of the prestigious National Honor Society.
Kamyra’s college major is in Social Work. She plans to get her Bachelor’s degree at Lamar before pursuing her Master’s degree online.
The Dam B Community Watch is proud of Kamyra White and other young people who have such high ambition and apply themselves to achieve their goals. They accept no limits and are willing to work hard to succeed. She is the second recipient of a scholarship from the Dam B Community Watch group.
