TRINITY — Soggy grounds and a threat of rain on Friday did not deter Trinity residents from showing up in support of the Trinity Community Fair.

Tally Stout said the TCFA Annual Scholarship Crawfish Boil was once again a hit because of the tremendous, continued support of the sponsors and volunteers.

There were 58 tables sponsored and more than 50 single supporters attending.

“This year, at the Trinity ISD Scholarship night, we will award scholarships in the amount of $17,813,” Stout said. “At the Trinity Community Fair this fall, we will award this year’s profits, which are currently projected to be $10,000. It’s all for the kids, and we can’t thank the community enough for investing in the future of Trinity’s youth each year.”

Stout said the fair committee is thankful each year for the major sponsors — Big E-Z Crawfish and Oyster Bar, Stevenson Beer Distributor and Faust Beer Distributor.

“Without their generous support, the show could not go on,” she said.
