Livingston High School’s 2023 Salutatorian Maci Hill now attends Texas A&M University, where she majors in political science. She participated in National History Day for seven years in the documentary category and was a Next Generation Angels Award Winner at the National Contest in 2022. She has been chosen to join the national office as a National History Day intern in May to help prepare for the National Contest.
Open to past NHD participants at any level, interns must be in college and will support the national office staff with running the national contest this summer. National History Day is a nonprofit education organization based in College Park, Maryland. NHD offers year-long academic programs that engage over half a million middle- and high-school students around the world annually in conducting original research projects on historical topics of interest. Students enter these projects at the local and affiliate levels, with top students advancing to the national contest at the University of Maryland at College Park in June.
