To the Booster Staff,
As a local resident of Woodville I want to thank the Booster for sponsoring the annual Buck contest for Tyler County. Had we not been blessed with a local paper the Buck contest would not have occured. The Booster prides itself in displaying all aspects of local and surronding communities in Tyler County. I am an avid reader of the Booster and can’t wait to get my hands on a copy every Thursday.
I am honored to be the winner of this year’s Buck contest. The buck I harvested was my first buck taken on my property in Woodville. The buck was a great specimen of the deer habitat that Tyler County holds. Fresh air, quiet stillness, scenic beauty and the observations of nature is the real happiness of hunting. This may be my last deer harvest but the memory will be a lifetime.
