Members of the Colmesneil Fishing Team braved a very cold day on the water during the first SETX tournament of the season over the weekend. In spite of the tough weather, Colmesneil anglers went and battled it out; earning points for their team.
The team of Brayden Wells and Bentley Thompson weighed in 11.58 lbs landing them 18th out of 440+ teams.
Also: be on the look out for Colmesneil Fishing Team anglers selling raffle tickets. The Colmesneil Fishing Team will be selling raffle tickets until March 16.
Each one of the teams that is trying to qualify for the championship must sell a minimum number of tickets.
Tickets are $5 a piece, and the drawing will be held May 4. Prizes include:
• A 1 day guided trip for 2 on Lake Sam Rayburn with professional angler Keith Combs
• Signed jersey from Keith Combs
• Milwaukee Took Set
• $500 in Lew’s Merchandise
• A mystery prize valued at $500
