LATEXO — The Lady Tigers finished champions of the bronze bracket at the Latexo Christmas Tournament after going 2-2 on the weekend.
Paetyn Jolly earned All-Tournament Team honors.
Trinity opened up with a 46-23 loss to Chester, but came back to down Chester 43-18 in the finale.
The Tigers, also competing in the tournament, lost in the championship game in the gold bracket after going 2-0 in pool play Thursday, defeating Latexo 44-38 and Chester 54-24.
On Friday, Trinity won a thrilling 58-55 victory over Lampasas, but was downed 60-38 in the Saturday finale against Frankston.
Groveton
The Lady Indians traveled to Woden on Friday and lost 61-25.
Leading scorers were Kiki Smith with 13 points, followed by Laney Peterson with 6 points.
For the boys, Groveton lost to Pineywoods Community Academy 46-40 on Friday.
