JC Stoddard is removing glass from windows and meticulously cleaning steel frames on the first and second floors, a painstaking but crucial process that ensures the preservation of every detail. Meanwhile, the painters have also been hard at work, stripping doors and priming a couple of windows for review. Once the finishing details are agreed upon by the architect and Polk County, the restoration of all windows and doors will commence. Skilled masons have produced two mechanical stripping samples for review, focusing their efforts on the exterior porch columns.
