GOOD. Water stained; 60 degrees; 1.18 feet below pool. Crappie are good in 20-30 feet of water on standing timber with minnows or jigs. Colder weather will urge black bass to move deeper, so sinking lines with baitfish patterns are a good option. Try baitfish imitations and poppers. Crappie will be moving out to open water. Caddo
GOOD. Water stained; 60 degrees; 0.39 feet above pool. Fishing is good and will improve due to the colder weather. Stay in the river system and you should be able to find black bass, crappie and white bass running along the grass lines. Use shad baits like traps, crank baits and spoons. Always look for the birds eating the bait. The lake is beautiful right now as the trees have that November red on the leaves, so come enjoy this majestic lake that God spoke into existence and catch some fish. Conroe
SLOW. Water stained; 68 degrees; 0.61 feet below pool. Catfish continue to be great on points, ledges, humps and structure using catfish Bubblegum, liver, worms or punch bait/ Report by Brad Doyle, Bradley’s Guide Service. Bass have become more active with the weather changes, and smaller ones are biting well around laydowns, structure, and brush in 6-8 feet of water on rattletraps and spinnerbaits. Shaky Head jigs with dark 8 inch worms have been effective, along with Carolina rigs, when fishing rocks and small structures in the 9-14 feet range. Lipless crankbaits are also proving successful around boathouses, rip rap, and brush piles, where they are chasing schools of shad. Report by Bryan Brawner, Lake Conroe Charters. Hybrids are in 12-24 feet of water on flats trolling with a pet spoon and a diver, or jigging MTPockets slabs. Whites have been running with the hybrids in some schools as well as juvenile hybrid, please check the tooth patch for proper identification. Crappie are slow, having to hit many spots to get the hotties. Minnows are hit-or-miss, with some success using hair jigs from Lone Star Crappie Jigs and Stunna jigs, hair jigs are out producing plastic jigs. Fork
GOOD. Water Stained; 62-65 degrees; 2.13 feet below pool. Bass are good with the best bite on squarebill crankbaits and chatterbaits in 3-5 feet of water. Texas rigs and Viper XP jigs are good on the edge of the weeds and stems in 3-5 feet of water. Carolina rig picking a few up off shore in 8-15 feet on points and humps. Report by Marc Mitchell, Lake Fork Guide Service. Fall has arrived and the fish will start their prep for cold weather. Black bass are feeding in 1-5 feet of water on baitfish imitations. Lake Fork crappie fishing is awesome as the fish are feeding heavy as they prepare for colder months. The crappie are becoming much more aggressive as water temperatures are dropping into the lower 60s. We are still fishing standing timber and brush piles in 18-40 feet of water. There are still fish on some laydowns but those fish may not bite every day. Bridges are holding fish as well but you will have to weed through short fish to find those keepers. Minnows are still working well but my boat has switched over to all hand tied jigs and I’m sure they will bite most soft plastics as well. Catfishing continues to be incredible on baited holes. If you drop some cattle cubes or sour grain near areas that are holding shad the channel catfish will stack up. Target timber along creek channels in 20-25 feet right now with cheese punch bait. It is common to see 25-50 fish an hour right now. Most fish will be in the 13-16 inch range with a few fish getting up to 4-5 pounds with the occasional 10 pound fish. Houston County
GOOD. Water clear; 61 degrees; 1.75 feet below pool. Crappie are good in 8-14 feet of water on docks, standing timber, and brush using minnows. Lake O' the Pines

Livingston
GOOD. Stained; 66 degrees; 0.02 feet above pool. Thankful fish are transitioning to a fall pattern finally. White bass are schooling on humps biting slabs. Few reports of striped bass. Martin Creek
FAIR. Water slightly stained; 72 degrees; 4.34 feet below pool. Bass are good fishing early over the hydrilla with buzz baits, swimbaits and rattletraps. Throwing Redbug worms along the outside edge will land catches as well. Crappie are scattered, but limits can be found in brush and standing timber from 20-30 feet of water with minnows and Bobby Garland jigs in screamer color work good. Happy Thanksgiving!
Nacogdoches
GOOD. Water clear; 62-66 degrees; 3.49 feet below pool. Bass are good with decent sized schools chasing bait in 20-25 feet of water. Crappie are good using minnows, but as water temperature cools jigs will begin to excel. The majority of fish have made their way to deeper water. Happy Thanksgiving! Naconiche
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 63 degrees; full pool. The overall bite is getting better, as the water temps start to cool, and as we head toward cooler weather. Bass are starting to school back up and are chasing the shad. Alabama rigs, deep diving crankbaits, and shad imitations on topwater are getting bites. If you find fish near the bottom, a drop-shot can be deadly. Follow the bait balls and you'll find the bass. Crappie population is good. Catfish are slow. Happy Thanksgiving! SLOW. Water slightly stained; 66 degrees. Fishing is slow, but the lake level is looking good and clearing. Largemouth bass are slow biting on crankbaits. Bluegills are biting best in the morning and evenings. Happy Thanksgiving!
Sam Rayburn
FAIR. Water slightly stained; 70 degrees; 6.48 feet below pool. Fishing patterns will hold steady through the Thanksgiving weekend. Bass are moving deeper with deep diving crankbaits coming into play. Some bass continue to be shallow chasing shad fattening up for winter. Wacky worms along the edge of grass and pads will continue to catch fish. Crappie continue to move towards the creek. Catfish are chasing shad balls up the creeks. White bass are schooling with catches on slabs. The lake level is low so navigate with caution watching for stumps and sand bars. Happy Thanksgiving! Toledo Bend
FAIR. Water clear; 63-66 degrees; 4.42 feet below pool. Good numbers of bass showing up in back of creeks, and some of the main lake. The creeks are muddy from the recent rain. Best baits have been on lipless baits, shallow running crankbaits, and spinnerbaits with gold and silver willow leaf blades. Main lake fish coming from 14-22 feet, big crankbaits, Texas rigs and Carolina rigs. These main lake fish are following the shad, and we are following the fish. Check near the tops of ridges or on the sides. With the cool temperatures the shad are abundant, especially in the middot of the lake around the bridge. Tyler
FAIR. Water stained; 64 degrees; 2.74 feet below pool. All species continue to have a Thanksgiving feast on bait fish. Bluegill are good with nice size catches on minnows, and smaller fish on red worms all over the lake. Catfish are fair all over the lake on nightcrawlers and stinkbait.
