Woodville’s own Mike Cabaniss and Arin Dees ran in the HMSA Classic 25K marathon last Sunday. The race was Dees’ first marathon event, and she has been training for four months. It was 15.5 miles of non-stop running, and she said she was blessed to have Cabaniss, a veteran marathon runner, along the way. “I’ve never had anyone to cheer me at the finish line before, so that makes this race all the more special,” she said.
