On Sunday, Trinity County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a nuisance alligator complaint. According to Sheriff Woody Wallace, the gator population is rapidly growing, and most gators are scared of humans and will stay away. However, when people feed alligators, they become less afraid and some can become aggressive, so people are urged to not feed the alligators. The gator was relocated to a less-populated area.
