Annual events include the two-day Trinity Community Fair the last weekend in September, with old-fashioned livestock show and auction, agricultural exhibits, horticulture, fine art, etc. and a carnival. In December, Santa Claus comes to town to the Christmas at the Crossroads celebration. This event includes live music, arts and crafts vendors, lighting the Christmas tree and a visit with Santa for the children. On July 4th, the festivities include a barbecue cookoff, a street dance and special fireworks display. The Standard covers all these and much more as well as school sports, and city and county government. Trinity is an historic town with character to match. The paper attempts to exhibit the character of the residents (old and new) and the town.
