Residents held at gun point during home invasion

 

SHEPHERD — On Wednesday morning, January 14, the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from a homeowner on Kathy Street, in the Shepherd area, stating they had been robbed at gunpoint in their home by three unknown subjects. The suspects bound the women in the residence with "Zip Ties" while holding them at gunpoint and threatened to kill one of the children in the home if the homeowner did not open the safe. An elderly female was struck in the head with a gun by one of the suspects. She was transported to the hospital in Livingston, for treatment of her injuries. The suspects took weapons, cash and other valuables and fled the residence in the homeowner's 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, "pearl white" in color, and bearing Texas license plate CRR-5932. There were three suspects – 2 black males and 1 Hispanic male.  Black male #1 described as very tall – 6'2"/6'3" with a large build and aggressive manner. This suspect had a gold tooth in the front of his mouth.  Black male #2 described as short and skinny, approximately 5'2" with very baggy drooping clothes.  The Hispanic male is described at tall, approximately 5'10", with light skin. He appeared, spoke and acted American – not foreign. He has a distinctively large sized mouth. This home invasion case is currently being investigated by the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office.
