The Groveton Lions Club will hold its’ annual Mop and Broom Sale on Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, in front of the Court House beginning at 10:00 a. m.
   Products that will be available include mops, brooms, brushes, clothes and many other quality cleaning aids for home, business, or industry.
    All products that are sold are made by the blind and the proceeds that go to the Caravan for the Blind will be used to further their work.  The net proceeds that go to the Groveton Lions Club will go to the general fund with a portion allotted to the scholarship fund.  General funds will be used to support the many activities that the Groveton Lions Club participates in including:  eye exams and glasses for students in the Apple Springs, Centerville, and Groveton Schools; help with funding for students to attend the Lions Camp in Kerrville, Texas; various volunteer clubs; and, Project Celebration.
    Lion Lynn Reynolds will serve as this year’s sales chairman.  Lion Lynn can help with pre-sale brochures as well as any Lion Club member.
   The Groveton Lions Club appreciates your participation in this worthwhile fund raiser and looks forward to seeing you on May 2nd and 3rd!
