No injuries reported in crash

No injuries were reported as a result of a crash that occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 8 about 1:16 p.m. near the intersection of Loop 304 and Hwy. 19 south.

According to reports, an 18-wheeler tractor/trailer, driven by Jimmy Grim, 62, of Arkansas struck the back of a 2006 Ford sedan, driven by Louis Bodden, 83, of Lovelady.

Reports indicate both vehicles were eastbound on Loop 304 and the crash occurred as Bodden slowed down to look at a sign.

The Ford sedan driven by Bodden traveled some 35 yards into a nearby field.
Crockett Police Department, Crockett Fire Department and ETMC EMS responded to the call.

As of press time Wednesday, Jan. 9, the crash remained under investigation.
